I'm sure it's user error, but I need to determine said error. The little infinity sign is present, and there is no movement in the download portion. The files load in to the client, and the torrent even comes up with the blue download arrow, but nothing is happening. I opened the utorrent client, and tried to download. When I completed that, I hit the upload button and I got the message saying that the upload was successful, but that because I was in "member mode" I had to download my own torrent in order to seed it. I followed the steps it dictated, and then went to the DAD site and filled in all the info to upload a torrent. I then opened the "Create new torrent" link in utorrent. Tonight, I'm trying to torrent a REALLY tasty gem from my masters collections (Red Hot Chili Peppers soundboard from '86) and I can't get it to work. what exactly means "we have", "finished", "passed hash check" (especially why "we have", "finished" are contrasted in comments like "returns true if all blocks in this piece are finished or if we have the piece").Last week I uploaded to the LMA for the first time, and that was a breeze, since it's just sending files to another place. ![]() For example, I can't understand the clear difference between the states of a piece, i.e. I am really confused by the logic of accounting of downloaded data and the terminology used. ![]() Limiting your upload rate does not improve your download speedsit can even harm them. To change it, double-click the torrent, and replace the number next to 'Maximum download rate' with 0.0, then click OK. By default, your download speeds are limited. According to comment in the code torrent_status.num_pieces is equivalent to std::accumulate(pieces->begin(), pieces->end()) but actually torrent_status.pieces is obtained differently: IIRC, pieces take into account the pieces that have passed the hash check, while num_pieces takes into account the pieces that we "have". Set the maximum download rate to 0.0 to get unlimited speed.torrent_status.total_wanted_done >= torrent_status.total_wanted but torrent_status.num_pieces is less than total number of pieces). Regardless of 100%+ progress the torrent still doesn't "have" all the pieces (i.e.Removing completed torrents is up to each individual user but sometimes one has hardware limits and removing doesn't. I don't recall what it looks like but it moves to the seeding section when it's completed. It should show you on the utorrent display seeding section. torrent_status.state is neither finished nor seeding). By default when it completes it re-seeds automatically. Equipment I use: (Mic, PC Components, etc. ![]() Regardless of 100%+ progress the torrent is still marked as Downloading (i.e. A short tutorial on how to automatically stop seeding your torrent after the download is complete using uTorrent.According to screenshot from this comment, there is still possible to get incorrect progress from libtorrent. However, I was able to find some inconsistencies that could serve as an impetus for you to perform your own investigations. Recently I tried to investigate the libtorrent code, but I still couldn't put this puzzle into the whole picture. Maybe the fact my torrents and AVI files are being stored remotely is part of the problem? If there is any hiccup in storing data remotely, maybe qbittorrent is not handling the error condition well and I don't have time to do large-scale testing with debugging of this problem to provide a lot of data. In other words I have one Mac which acts as a central file server for all Macs in the house, including my qbittorrent mac. in my case I am running qbittorrent on a Mac but all my storage locations are on another Mac I am accessing via a wired Ethernet connection using SMB (standard Mac networking). Sometimes this can be fixed by pausing and resuming, but usually I have to exit qbittorrent and restart to get them to not be stalled. The symptom is that there are many active Seeds and many active Peers, but 0 Down Speed and Status is Stalled. I get downloads randomly stalling (often when they are first added to qbittorrent, but sometimes after they have downloaded some portion already).Stopping and restarting qbittorrent usually (always?) causes these torrents to either recheck or download a last few bytes (not sure which action is happening - it is too quick) then complete successfully and switch to seeding. Pausing and resuming does not seem to help. I am having the same problem as well, running qbittorrent 4.0.4, but there are 2 symptoms:
